It almost seems silly to write you when its been over a month since we purchased our wonderful Featherlite used trailer ... But some good stuff just needs to be said, and better late than necer certainly applies here!!  :)  Firstly, you all treated us SO kindly when we were there!!!  Our salesman ran all over with us as we were trying to figure out the right trailer (VERY PATIENT MAN!)  And all the staff asked us if we wanted anything ... even just chatted with us while we waited (and that included the owner!!)  NOBODY is nice like that anymore!!! People are usually so crabby & short ... and you're giving them business ... BUT NOT YOU GUYS!!! We even felt "at home" at your business !!!  If ever we would get another trailer we would HANDS DOWN come back to you ... We wouldn't even check anywhere else because you guys are the best !!!!!!!! And then you gave us a deal on the little tire changing block + the whole trailer deal!  but I think most astounding of all was when one of your staff called our home to find out how our ride home was ... Now mind you, he treated us like gold ( & so did the other guys) while we were there AND all of them were working SO late & missing supper YIPES ... but to have someone call & check on us the next day ... NEVER has anyone EVER given that level of service or care !!!  We comment you ALL & your hard work & strong work ethic ... You all were refreshing & encouraging !!!  What a great business !!!

Dear: Gold Medal Trailers,

This is Joe Wildenberg from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls Falcon Pulling Team.  I am contacting you regarding your sponsorship of our team last year.  We would like to inform you about the success we had at competition last year.  As a team we would also like to thank you and tell you how much your sponsorship means to us. 

Over this past year we accomplished more objectives than just building a quarter scale pulling tractor.  We learned how to use the education that we have received to design and build last year's UWRF's quarter scale pulling tractor.  However, in the process of doing so, we also learned how to work efficiently as a team, and how to manage a small scale "real-world" engineering project from thebeginning to a finished product.  At the International Quarter Scale Tractor Student Design Competition we finished in 18th place overall out of 22 teams.  That is one place better than the year before!  We also placed 3rd in the oral presentation that was given to a panel of engineers from the agrcultural industry.  This year we created a 2nd place website that can be viewed at www.uwrffalconpullers.webs.com.  Check it out!

As a sponsor, your contribution was influential in our success.  Without your sponsorship we would not have been able to have a successful year like we did this year.  In the future we would like to continue to build quarter scale tractors because of the engineering experiences  gained by the students that participate.  We have enjoyed having you as a sponsor, and hope that you will continue to support our team in the future.

Our Mar-Lin V.F.W. Post 10203 of Hamburg, WI would like to take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support in donating door prizes for our Annual Valentine's Dance on February 21st, 2009.

Through the continued support of people, such as yourself, our fundraiser was a great success.  The proceeds from this event are distributed throughout the local community buildings, purchases and place flags on vererans' graves on the cemeteries we are assigned to.

We visit and hold Military Rites on fourteen cemeteries on Memorial Day.  With the proceeds from the dance we are able to hire a bugler and also a drummer to assist in making the ceremonies more meaningful.

Dear Sue,

Thank you for your letter on Feb. 4.  The 9408 we recently bought has worked well for us.  In January my daughter, Esther, and I drove it with her horse, Chip, to North Hampton, Massachusetts, where she is attending Smith College.  They have a stables and arena on campus.  The trailer performed well on the trip, and is now parked at school awaiting Esther's & Chip's return to Wisconsin in May.  Everyone at Gold Medal is friendly & helpful.  On a trip from Wisconsin to Ft. Rucker, Alabama on New Years the electrical plug from our Showtime trailer got disconnected & needed replacement.  A call to Casey on New Years Eve afternoon enabled the shop in Indiana to properly rewire a new plug and get us on our way.  On our return trip we were warm in the living quarters, although the temp dropped to 5 degrees in 20 mph winds!

Hello, Just wanted to let you know we love the Featherlite trailer you sold us.  We have it all finished inside the living quarters and it looks really good to.  We have been showing it off a lot to all our friends and they like the whole trailer, the height they see right away.  I called and talked to someone up there before the 4th of July asking permission to advertise for you, and they said go right ahead so we did.  We were in the Pardeeville Parade on the 4th of July.  We are proud of the name Featherlite!  You have the better deals in Merrill, WI.  Thank you very much for the great trailer.  We do a lot of trail rides to and we get way up to Lily so we would like to let people know where we got our nice trailer!
